On a phone, rotate to landscape. If your browser cannot lock orientation, use the rotate overlay or choose Play in portrait. On iPhone Safari, use Share → Add to Home Screen for a standalone view; Safari’s browser bars cannot be hidden by the game. Drag the joystick to walk; hold Jump for height. Use Attack and weapon slots on the right. Walk over items to collect them. A contextual Read or Talk button appears near story objects. Fullscreen requests landscape orientation when supported; on iPhone, rotate manually. Change it opens your owned costumes on desktop and mobile; equipping uses the same wallet inventory as Marketplace.
Combat and rewards
- One monster or projectile hit ends the run. Jump onto a monster to stomp it; dodge the boss’s charge. There is no shield or health bar.
- Each map has 30 monsters and a boss after 60 active seconds. Small, large and boss HP start at 50, 100 and 300, increasing by 20% each map.
- Every defeated monster drops exactly one item: big chestnut 10%, small chestnut 40%, SQK 20%, gun 10%, sword 10%, bomb 10%. Each item can be collected once.
- Small chestnuts score 1 point, big chestnuts 5. The original forest’s chestnuts and caches also add points. A coin gives 1 SQK. Desktop: press E near an item. Touch: walk over it.
- A gun holds 100 bullets. A new gun refills to 100; ammo never exceeds 100. An empty gun leaves the bar. A bomb pickup gives 3 throws; the sword and chestnuts have unlimited uses.
- Base damage: chestnut 25, gun 20, sword and stomp 50. Bombs burn an area for 5 damage per second for 8 seconds. Weapon upgrades add together, up to +55%, for gun, sword and bomb. Existing purchased skills remain effective.
- Clear all 30 monsters and the boss, then inspect the metal fragment beyond the gate to continue the story.
Saves and lifetime scores
Guests play without saving. Connect MetaMask and sign a login message to save progress; login never sends a transaction or spends funds. A wallet connection alone does not verify a save account.
Lifetime Top 100 ranks accumulated scores from ended sessions across all maps. Death, completion and restart end a session. Scores never reset. Current Map Score stays separate until the session ends. Existing stored lifetime scores are retained; guests are never ranked.
Marketplace purchases require a verified wallet profile. Each costume and upgrade can be bought once. Costumes are cosmetic and do not protect against hits.
The story so far
In a peaceful village beneath a chestnut forest, two hamster friends, Alice and Chang, live together.
One evening a mysterious beam of light strikes the village. When Chang arrives, Alice is gone. All that is left is her overturned basket and a trail of scattered chestnut shells.
Follow the trail, look for clues and find what lies at the forest exit.
